The following letters were written as part of a creative writing lesson in class. We had read ‘Reaching the Heights’ by Peter Gunning, which was a major hit with the class. The children (Or I supposed I should be calling you all young adults!!) were allowed ‘borrow’ the type of vocabularly used in the book, which may serve as an explanation for some of the words which may not usually be permitted in a written piece!!
